Knowing who you are and whose you are in this time called life is the key if not you will be deceived.
Matthews 24:24 says “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
It says “if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect”. The key words here “if it were possible”. People has to know they are the elect and if you are you will not be deceived because you have been chosen and selected by God not to be deceived.
Eve was deceived. Job was not. Paul was not. Jesus was not. The difference was Jesus was the word and he did nothing unless the Father told him. He had and has relationship with the Father. Job and Paul all had relationships with the Lord.
Therefore, as an elect it is not possible to be deceived because of our relationship, remember, and reverence for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
If my focus is on the Lord, it is not possible to be deceived.
The words that gets me is “if it were possible”. The one word most people in their reading or studying miss is “if”.
If – is the word within the verse that changed everything. You have to know who you are in this season called life.
If not you will be deceived. They can only deceived you about who you are. If you do not know who you are you are deceived.
The key that turns on this and one’s relationship is if.
