Let Me Encourage You!!!

Do you find yourself at a place of wanting to throw in the towel or give up? It seems like God is not going to come through for you.  Do situations and circumstances seem like it is overtaking you?

This is the advice I would like to give you today – Don’t quit! Don’t give up! Don’t look back!

Tie a knot and hold unto God’s word and stand still and see the salvation. Remember you are more than an conqueror.  You are the apple of his eye.  Your hair is number.  Your name is engraved in his hand.  You are valuable to the Lord.

Wait for the Lord for He is working behind the scene on your behalf. David said, “I waited patiently on the Lord”. Let this be your testimony like David.

Cry, Shout, Scream, be angry just do not sin but just don’t quit, give up or look back.

God is going to do what He said is going to do. He has not forgotten you. God, the Father has you.

This is my tied knot what does your knot look like?

The Lord is Not Slack concerning His Promise

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise. The word “slack” means dull, easy, lax, laggard, passive, relaxed, slow, sluggish and weak. So the Lord is not dull, easy, lax, laggard, passive, relaxed, slow, sluggish or weak concerning His promise.

When God makes a promise – it is a promise that will not or cannot be broken, over looked or is conditional. A promise is a promise!

There are 111 times the word promise appears in the KJV of the Bible. Here is one of my favorite scriptures Deuteronomy 1:11 “The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!”

I firmly believe in multiplication blessing what has the thousand times more miracles than I can even think about. So having the promise of God is like have multiplication blessing it is continuous and there is no slacking in His promise.

What is a promise? The dictionary states: 1). a declaration that something will or will not be done, given, etc., by one: 2). an express assurance on which expectation is to be based: 3). something that has the effect of an express assurance; indication of what may be expected. 4). indication of future excellence or achievement: 5). something that is promised. We serve God the creator of Heaven and Earth who is not slack concerning His promises.

Did you know there are over 8,000 in the Word of the Lord?

Here are five promises from the Word of God:
1).  Exodus 14:14 ~ The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.

2). Isaiah 40:29 ~ He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

3). Isaiah 40:31 ~ But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

4). Isaiah 41:10 ~ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

5). Isaiah 41:13 ~ For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

His promises are loaded benefits daily according to Psalms 68:19 ~ Blessed be the Lord, who daily loaders is with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Another thing about the promise(s) of God they are not conditional but binding. His promise is done because of His love, grace and mercy.  God is bound by His word.  What His word says whether written or spoke is what God is bound by and so is His promise.

The Key words are “Will Not” and “Nor Will Cease”.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.  Jeremiah 17:7‭-‬8 NKJV

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” It is here we are blessed because we trust “in” the Lord. It is here do you not only trust the Lord but in His plans, His purposes, His progression, His power and His process, His programs and His Promises.

Another point is that your hope is not only in the Lord but your hope “is” the Lord.   Because of these facts in and is we know that we shall be like a tree which is planted by the river and our roots are grounded in Him. When the heat which is called life comes your way, you are not fearful or afraid.

Not only are you planted, rooted but you are also green. The color “green” means “new life, environment, happiness and lawlessness”.

The following scriptures will help you understand the meaning of the color green:-

Psalm 92:12-14 “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;”.

Hosea 14:8 “Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.”

Genesis 1:11-13 “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.”

Genesis 2:8, 15 “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”

The last part of this got my attention “…and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit”. The key words are “Will Not” and “Nor Will Cease”. Five words yet they are powerful when placed in this portion of the passage.

This means to me in spite of my anxiousness or my drought in the year, I will still yield fruit. I will still preach, I will still be His ready pen and speak thus says the Lord. I will still worship, still praise, still study His Word, still only believe Him, and still seek after His heart. I will be still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Here I know that drought will be happening in the year but it means I will still yield my fruit that He has invested within me to be His blessing in someone else’s life.
